Description: 

The GT XDetector Kit is an advanced genetic tool designed for profiling female samples in complex forensic and kinship cases. It contains 17 STR markers, 15 of which are specific to the X chromosome, organized into four linkage groups. This kit enables accurate identification of female genotypes even in the presence of male samples and is ideal for linkage analysis when a disease gene is located on the X chromosome.

GT Detector Global Allelic Ladder:

The graph presents electropherograms obtained from marker analysis using the GT XDetector kit in capillary electrophoresis. The profiles contain sharp peaks of markers, divided by color into blue, green, yellow, and red, corresponding to the respective linkage groups of STR markers on the X chromosome. Each profile indicates the exact DNA fragment sizes within a specific range, enabling reliable genotype analysis.

The graph demonstrates the high quality and accuracy of results obtained with the kit, confirming its efficiency in forensic and kinship DNA analysis.

Compatibility and Usage:

The kit is compatible with Applied Biosystems™ 3500/xL, 3130/xl, and SeqStudio platforms for detection and analysis. The GT XDetector kit has been tested on more than 400 samples. It can be used on DNA extracted from hair roots, bone DNA, or directly in PCR without extraction (e.g., using GT BLB or GT DBC/GT DBC Blue filter papers).

 

Kit Contents:

The kit contains all necessary reagents and buffers for multiplex PCR (Multiplex Primer mix, PCR buffer, GT HSTaq DNA Pol in Box A). Additionally, the kit includes the GT XDetector Allelic Ladder, GT500 Size Standard, and GTM5 Matrix Standard for genetic analyzer calibration (Box B).
