Biocoupler™ Glass Set

Kontakt z nami

Easy handling
Space-saving
Versatile use

Description:

The BioCoupler™ is the simplest and most affordable temporary immersion system for plant tissue culture. The device connects two standard glass jars (with 70-450 necks, volumes ranging from 237 to 947 ml) using a unique patented adapter with a built-in microporous filter. This allows excellent gas exchange, high humidity, efficient nutrient distribution, and easy mixing—without the need for electricity or complex setup.

The set includes the next-generation BioCoupler™ adapter and glass containers.

Benefits:

Easy to use: No valves, pumps, or electricity required; quick to assemble and clean.
Excellent ventilation: Built-in long-lasting microporous filter ensures a clean environment and minimizes contamination risk.
Highly versatile: Suitable for a wide range of plants – orchids, cannabis, succulents, carnivorous plants, aquatic plants, and ferns.
Durable and long-lasting: Made of exceptionally strong, heat-resistant material – withstands multiple autoclaving cycles and rough handling.
Efficient and space-saving: Compact design saves space in growth chambers; hundreds of units can be used simultaneously for intensive micropropagation.
No traditional gelling agents needed: Works with liquid media (e.g., MS medium); does not require agar or gellan gum.

Design & Innovation:

  • Adjustable slats and narrow slots keep explants in the upper chamber, allowing greater media flow and enhanced aeration.
  • The new model is sturdier, less prone to contamination, easy to clean, and ensures smooth handling of filters and seals.
  • All parts can be sterilized by autoclaving (121°C), or chemically/gas sterilized.

Usage:

  • Bottom jar: Fill with liquid medium up to 2/3 of its volume.
  • Top jar: Place explants or propagating tissue inside.
  • Ideal for both laboratory and hobby applications.

Package sizes:

Vessel: 8 oz, 16 oz
1, 6 or 12 sets
