Description

The Velocity 18R Plus delivers exceptional capacity (4 x 400 ml (bucket capacity), 36 x 15 ml, 16 x 50 ml), refrigerated centrifugation with an impressive maximum speed of 18,000 RPM (30,318 xg).

• Automatic Rotor Recognition - Automatic rotor recognition and confirmation once centrifugation has commenced, including rotational speed calculation and optimum temperature control. Furthermore new rotors’ info can be easily loaded onto the on-board database as they are introduced.

• Auto-Lock Rotor - Simply place the rotor on the drive shaft. The auto-lock mechanism takes care of the rest. Once centrifugation is complete, the rotor can be easily lifted off. Fast, simple, efficient, and safe.

• High imbalance tolerance - Innovative motor engineering and mounting allow for greater imbalance tolerances, so much so that samples can be balanced simply by eye. No more weighing – just fill tubes or bottles to within 5mm of each other.

• Fast Acceleration And Deceleration - The innovative high-torque drive technology effortlessly accelerates even the heaviest rotors to terminal velocity quickly and efficiently. A full load will achieve maximum velocity within a few minutes. 11 pre-set acceleration and 12 pre-set deceleration profiles (including coasting deceleration) ensure the best separation, even for the most delicate density gradients.

• Actual sample (rotor) temperature measurement and display - The temperature displayed on the LCD panel during centrifugation is that of the rotor (and hence samples). This allows more precise, reproducible and efficient experimentation compared to displaying the temperature of the chamber or the temperature at the sensor.

• Easy to operate LCD screem - The user-friendly graphical interface allows you to set parameters in seconds. The screen has an energy-saving mode where the brightness automatically decreases after a long period of inactivity, but is reactivated by simply tapping anywhere on the screen.

• Powerful refrigeration - A powerful, non-CFC compressor cools the chamber quickly whilst maintaining the rotor at a set temperature during centrifugation. The twin cooling fans – one for the compressor and motor respectively – dissipate heat quickly to improve cooling efficiency and extend the motor lifespan.

• Quiet operation – Noise abating insulation in the console, including lower noise fans, combine to reduce the audible operating noise to ≤58 dB.

• Data compliance and history management – Comply with GMP Requirements – To stasify increasing demand for data integreity, the Dynamica Velocity 18R Plus has comprehensive data management functions. Data can be safely stored or exported directly for easy tracking, meeting GMP requirements. 

• • User lock function and password protection – Enable User Lock function to protect data integrity. Up to 100 users can be stored in the memory with three different permission levels so you can customise exactly the level of access a user has to the data.
