6X DNA Loading Buffer

Description:

6× DNA loading buffer can be used for loading DNA markers and samples onto agarose or polyacrylamide gels. It contains two dyes – xylene cyanol FF and orange G – for visual tracking of DNA migration during electrophoresis.

The table shows suitable agarose gel concentrations for separating DNA fragments of specific sizes and also indicates the approximate migration positions of the dyes from the loading buffer depending on the gel type.
