Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA) has many uses as a carrier protein and as a stabilizing agent in enzymatic reactions. It has been tested for DNase, RNase, endonuclease, protease, peroxidase, and alkaline phosphatase activity, and assayed for fluorescence background.
