Description:

The ADS™ phi29 RCA DNA Amplification Kit is a complete solution for efficient isothermal DNA amplification using phi29 DNA polymerase derived from the Bacillus subtilis phi29 bacteriophage. This kit is ideal for the rapid and reliable amplification of plasmid DNA, viral genomes, or human genomic DNA for downstream applications such as Sanger sequencing, NGS, genotyping, or whole genome amplification.

ADS™ phi29 DNA Polymerase and the ADS™ phi29 RCA DNA Amplification Kit allow DNA amplification at 30 °C for 4 to 18 hours. The template can be plasmid DNA, a single colony lysate, or a few microliters of bacterial culture. The resulting amplified product can be used directly as a template for Sanger sequencing without the need for further purification.

Using this polymerase for screening correct mutants from a single colony eliminates the need for culturing, as the DNA template is amplified within hours and ready for Sanger sequencing. This enables faster identification of mutants without plasmid isolation.

Kit contents:
The kit includes DNA lysis buffer, 2× amplification buffer, and phi29 DNA polymerase. Simply add the sample and start the reaction.
