Applied Biosystems (ABI) Genetic Analyzer Service

We specialize in servicing Applied Biosystems genetic analyzers from the 310, 3100, 3130, 3500 and 3730 series. We provide both one-time repairs and long-term service tailored to the individual needs of each laboratory.

Our preventive maintenance includes instrument inspection and cleaning, calibration, inspection of individual components, replacement of standard wear parts, functional testing, workstation maintenance, and the issuance of a service or validation report. The scope of work is tailored to the specific instrument and laboratory requirements.

Capillary Regeneration for ABI Genetic Analyzers

We have developed our own capillary regeneration technology for Applied Biosystems genetic analyzers. It restores capillary performance, extends service life and helps laboratories reduce operating costs.

What Does Capillary Regeneration Include?

The regeneration process includes:

  • thorough cleaning of capillaries,
  • surface activation and restoration,
  • inspection and functional testing.
Which Instruments Are Supported?

We regenerate capillary arrays for Applied Biosystems genetic analyzers from the 3100, 3130, 3500 and 3730 series.

Regeneration of individual capillaries for the ABI 310 genetic analyzer is not economically feasible. Therefore, we offer new replacement capillaries.

Capillaries must not be mechanically damaged (broken, cracked or with a damaged detection window) or permanently clogged. If regeneration is no longer possible, we will inform the customer accordingly.

How Long Does Regeneration Take?

Regenerated capillary arrays are usually returned within 30 days after delivery to our laboratory.

What Is the Lifetime of Regenerated Capillaries?

Under normal operating conditions, regenerated capillaries have a service life comparable to new ones. In most cases, a capillary array can be successfully regenerated approximately twice, depending on its mechanical condition.

How Can I Order Capillary Regeneration?

Send us your order by e-mail or contact us by phone. Once your order has been confirmed, you can send the capillary array to our laboratory by standard mail or courier service. We recommend marking the shipment as Fragile.
