On June 15, 2026, the Minisymposium of the Czech Society of Experimental Plant Biology (CSEPB) will take place at the Faculty of Science, University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice. The event builds on the long-standing tradition of experimental plant biology research in the Czech Republic and brings together scientists from universities and research institutions to exchange the latest scientific knowledge and research developments.

The scientific program will feature presentations by leading Czech researchers and early-career scientists covering topics such as plant physiology, molecular biology, genomics, cytogenetics, and other current areas of experimental plant biology. The symposium will also include the inaugural presentation of the Jan Krekule Award for lifetime contributions to experimental plant biology, recognizing outstanding achievements in the field.
