Description:
BioDynami DNA/RNA quantification kits are designed for accurate quantification of DNA and RNA samples across a wide concentration range using the Qubit™ fluorometer.
The dsDNA Quantification Broad Range Kit is specifically developed for the quantification of double-stranded DNA and includes BR dye, BR dilution buffer, and two DNA standards. The assay is accurate for DNA concentrations ranging from 0.2 ng/µL to 2000 ng/µL and is highly selective for double-stranded DNA over RNA, as shown in the graph below.

Protocol:
The assay procedure is simple – just dilute the BR dye with the dilution buffer, add the DNA sample, and measure the concentration using the Qubit™ fluorometer.
Features:
DNA Selectivity and Sensitivity:
For testing, samples with and without RNA contamination were used in a series of input DNA amounts: 200, 400, 600, 800, and 1000 ng. The comparison results with the Thermo Fisher Scientific kit confirm the high accuracy and reliability of the BioDynami kit.

Effect of Contaminants:
Common contaminants such as salts, free nucleotides, solvents, detergents, RNA, single-stranded DNA, or proteins are well tolerated in the assays.
