Sticky End Ligation Master Mix

Description:

Sticky End Ligation Master Mix is a specially formulated 2X master mix designed for fast and efficient ligation of DNA fragments with sticky (cohesive) ends featuring 2–4 nucleotide overhangs. It contains T4 DNA ligase and unique additives that significantly enhance the efficiency of joining typical overhang-ended DNA fragments.

The master mix can ligate the following types of DNA fragments:

The image shows the result of ligating DNA fragments with sticky ends using Sticky End Ligation Master Mix for 1–10 minutes at room temperature. The ligated plasmids were transformed into DH-5α competent cells and cultured overnight on LB medium plates at 37 °C.
