Pfu DNA Polymerase

Description:
Pfu DNA Polymerase is a highly thermostable DNA polymerase isolated from the hyperthermophilic archaeon Pyrococcus furiosus. It catalyzes DNA synthesis in the 5’→3’ direction and possesses strong 3’→5’ exonuclease proofreading activity, which significantly reduces replication errors compared to Taq polymerase. This makes it ideal for applications requiring high-fidelity DNA amplification.
