Description:
Proteinase K is a serine protease with broad proteolytic activity, ideal for the efficient degradation of proteins during nucleic acid isolation and PCR product purification. The solution is ready to use immediately and, thanks to recombinant production, provides high activity even under variable conditions. Proteinase K exhibits enhanced proteolytic activity in the presence of SDS and urea. The recombinant form offers high performance across a wide pH and temperature range. The recommended working concentration is 50–100 μg/ml.
