2X BlueStar™ PCR Master Mix

Description:
2X BlueStar™ PCR Master Mix is a ready-to-use 2× concentrated PCR mixture containing HoTaq™ DNA polymerase, reaction buffer, MgCl₂, and dNTPs. It is designed for routine PCR, genotyping, and standard amplification applications. The mix also contains a gel loading dye, allowing direct loading of PCR products onto an agarose gel without additional loading buffer. HoTaq™ is a hot-start polymerase that is inactive at room temperature and becomes active during the initial denaturation step.

PCR protocol (workflow):

1. Prepare the reaction at room temperature.
2. Add template, primers, and H₂O to reach ½ of the final reaction volume.
3. Then add an equal volume of 2× master mix.
4. The master mix contains a high-fidelity DNA polymerase.
5. The elongation rate is approximately 2 kb/min.
6. The blue dye migrates on agarose gel at around the 1 kb position.
