Description:
BioDynami magnetic beads are designed for efficient isolation of DNA and RNA fragments as short as 6 nt. These beads offer high recovery rates for short DNA/RNA fragments, which SPRI beads cannot efficiently capture. This kit is ideal for purifying oligonucleotides, microRNA, and RNA, effectively removing impurities like salts, proteins, and dNTPs.
Procedure:
The DNA/RNA purification procedure with magnetic beads involves adding the beads to the sample, where DNA/RNA binds to their surface. A magnet is then used to separate the beads with DNA/RNA from impurities. The beads are washed to remove residual contaminants, and the purified DNA/RNA is released into a new solution for further use.

Efficiency:
The magnetic beads for short oligonucleotide purification demonstrate high recovery rates for DNA and RNA fragments. For 6 nt oligonucleotides, the recovery rate is about 80%, while fragments longer than 8 nt exceed 90%. DNA (20 bp), DNA oligonucleotides (20 nt), and RNA oligonucleotides (20 nt) consistently show recovery rates between 85-90%, confirming the product's reliability and efficiency. These magnetic beads are ideal for purifying short nucleic acids with minimal material loss.
