VWR®, Thermal Cyclers Doppio Gradient

Gradient PCR thermal cycler

two independent 48-well blocks for parallel PCR

Description:
The VWR® Thermal Cycler Doppio Gradient is a professional gradient PCR thermal cycler equipped with two independent 48-well gradient blocks in one system. It combines maximum flexibility, efficient laboratory space utilization, and the ability to run two independent PCR experiments with different temperature conditions simultaneously.

Each block operates independently and is compatible with 48 × 0.2 ml PCR tubes or 24 × 0.5 ml flat-cap tubes. Gradient technology enables PCR optimization by testing different temperature conditions within a single run, helping determine optimal primer annealing temperatures and develop new PCR protocols.

The system uses powerful Peltier elements with Long Life Technology, providing rapid temperature changes up to 5 °C/s and excellent block temperature uniformity. Remote control, protocol management, and monitoring are available through VWR PCR Cycler Master Software.
