Description:
MagnifiQ 96 Plant DNA instant kit is designed for automated magnetic isolation of genomic DNA from plant tissue in a 96-samples-per-plate format. It contains ready-to-use, reagent-filled plates and all necessary consumables. The kit allows isolation of 96 samples in a single extraction run. The MagnifiQ product series is based on automated nucleic acid isolation using magnetic beads. According to the manufacturer, this approach significantly shortens working time and reduces the risk of error compared to manual methods. The isolated material is, according to the manufacturer, suitable for downstream analysis by qPCR and RT-PCR as well as for sequencing. The manufacturer also states automated, fast isolation and the ability to process different samples with a universal kit and an automated extraction programme.

• Genomic DNA isolation from fresh or frozen plant tissue: powdered or unpowdered. Unpowdered tissue is homogenized before lysis in bead-beater tubes with metallic beads, which are not included
• DNA preparation for qPCR and RT-qPCR
• DNA preparation for sequencing
