FGF20-100

FGF-20 is a member of the fibroblast growth factor (FGF) family.

Description
FGF-20 is a member of the fibroblast growth factor (FGF) family. FGF family members possess broad mitogenic and cell survival activities, and are involved in a variety of biological processes, including embryonic development, cell growth, morphogenesis, tissue repair, tumor growth and invasion.
FGF-20 shares a high degree of homology with FGF-9 and FGF-16. The group of receptors which FGF-20 binds to comprises of FGFR1c, FGFR2c, FGFR3b, FGFR3c and FGFR4. It is shown that FGF-20 is found in a variety of cells, including but limited to, dopaminergic neurons, fibroblasts, keratinocytes and breast epithelium.
