MagAX™ 1 Sherlock instant kit

Description:
MagAX 1 Sherlock instant kit is designed for automated magnetic isolation of genomic DNA from materials with trace DNA content. It contains ready-to-use, reagent-filled strips and all necessary consumables. The strip format enables isolation of a single sample per purification run. The MagAX product series is based on automated nucleic acid isolation using anion-exchange beads. According to the manufacturer, this approach significantly shortens working time and reduces the risk of error compared to manual methods. The isolated DNA is, according to the manufacturer, suitable for downstream analysis by qPCR and RT-qPCR as well as for sequencing. The manufacturer also states efficient recovery of trace amounts of DNA and a DNA-free kit with a contamination-free guarantee.
