BioDynami DNA/RNA quantification kits are designed for accurate quantification of DNA and RNA samples across a wide concentration range using the Qubit™ fluorometer.
The dsDNA Quantification High Sensitivity Kit is specifically developed for the quantification of double-stranded DNA and includes HS dye, HS dilution buffer, and two DNA standards. The assay is accurate for DNA concentrations ranging from 10 pg/µL to 100 ng/µL and is highly selective for double-stranded DNA over RNA, as shown in the graph below.
Protocol:
The assay procedure is simple – just dilute the BR dye with the dilution buffer, add the DNA sample, and measure the concentration using the Qubit™ fluorometer.

DNA Selectivity and Sensitivity:
For testing, samples with and without RNA contamination were used in a series of input DNA amounts: 20, 40, 60, 80, 100, and 120 ng. The comparison results with the kit from Thermo Fisher Scientific confirm the high accuracy and reliability of the BioDynami kit.
Effect of Contaminants:
The tests are well-tolerated by common contaminants such as salts, free nucleotides, solvents, detergents, RNA, single-stranded DNA, or protein, as shown in the table below.
