Read moreDescription:
GT Detector Globe by Genetek Biopharma is a kit designed for global genetic data analysis, suitable for a wide range of populations. It contains 27 markers, including 20 new CODIS Core loci and STR markers recommended by the European Network of Forensic Science Institutes (ENFSI). This innovative multiplex system enables the amplification of all 27 markers in a single reaction, utilizing capillary electrophoresis technology with six-color resolution.
Features:
Markers:
The overview of genetic markers included in the GT Detector Globe system is illustrated in the image below. The markers are divided into five color groups based on their characteristics.
The lower part of the image displays the GT600 Size Standard, ranging from 60 to 600 bp, ensuring precise calibration of the genetic analyzer. This visualization clearly demonstrates that the product covers a broad spectrum of STR markers essential for forensic genetics and population studies, highlighting the versatility and comprehensiveness of the GT Detector Globe.
Chromosomal Locations:
The table below shows the GT Detector Global Kit markers, displaying names, dye used, size range, and chromosome locations.
The image below provides a clear overview of the relationship between individual markers and their chromosome locations, which is crucial for HID applications, including forensic and paternity testing.
GT Detector Global Allelic Ladder:
The graph displays electropherograms obtained during the analysis of markers from the GT Detector Globe kit using capillary electrophoresis. The individual graphs represent different color channels corresponding to markers, such as blue, green, yellow, red, and purple markers, which were amplified within the multiplex PCR. The axes indicate the DNA fragment sizes (in base pairs) and signal intensity, enabling precise identification of each marker. This output confirms the high quality and accuracy of the kit in genetic analysis, including the resolution of individual loci and their alleles.
Compatibility and Usage:
The kit is compatible with Applied Biosystems™ 3500/3500xL platforms for detection and analysis. The performance of GT Detector Globe has been validated on hundreds of samples.
The kit can be used with DNA extracted from various sources, as well as DNA obtained from hair roots, bone DNA, or direct PCR (without extraction), such as GT BLB (blood lysis buffer) and filter papers (GT DBC or GT DBC Blue).
Kit Contents:
The kit includes all necessary reagents and buffers for multiplex PCR (Multiplex Primer Mix, PCR buffer, GT HSTaq DNA Pol in box A). The kit also comes with the GT Detector Globe Allelic Ladder, GT600 size standard, and GTM6 Matrix standard for genetic analyzer calibration (box B).
Package Sizes:
50 reactions (Cat. No. GT-12401-50)
100 reactions (Cat. No. GT-12401-100)
1,000 reactions (Cat. No. GT-12401-1K)
