Description:
Specially designed gellan gum with reduced acyl content for use in plant tissue culture. It forms a highly transparent gel and is an ideal substitute for agar in culture media. It features higher purity, lower required dosage, and optimal conditions for the growth of various plant species including orchids, bananas, grapevines, and others.
Features:
- High purity: Minimizes the risk of contamination in cultures.
- Transparency: Allows perfect monitoring of explant development and potential contamination.
- Low dosage: Only 2–5 g/l needed, roughly half the amount compared to agar.
