PLANT DNA MINI KIT
The peqGOLD Plant DNA Mini kit is
suitable for a wide range of plant
species. Efficient separation of phenolic
compounds, polysaccharides and
enzyme inhibitors allow the extracted
DNA to be directly used for downstream
applications. Organic extractions with
phenol or alcohol precipitations are not
necessary.
PRINCIPLE
Samples are homogenized and lysed
under denaturing conditions, then
filtered using Prefilter. By loading the
lysate to the column the DNA will be
bound to the PerfectBind silica matrix.
Cellular debris, proteins and other
contaminants are removed by washing
the column with special wash buffers.
