10X Thermal Chelator

Description:
Magnesium is the cofactor for the polymerase. This patentpending technology relates to thermally reversible chelators of magnesium, thus a hot-start-cold-stop PCR is achieved.
At lower temperature below 37^oC, magnesium is chelated and not able to bind the polymerase. At elevated temperature above 65 or 72^oC, magnesium is released to bind the polymerase. The chelators will compete for the magnesium back from the polymerase when the temperature lowered below 37^oC. 
This mechanism provides a thermally reversible Hot-start PCR system without any modification on polymerase itself. This hot-start PCR system requires no heat activation step.
