BioTilt™ is the latest breakthrough in the automation of plant tissue cultures – delivering full automation of the proven and cost-effective BioCoupler™ bioreactor. This system automates repetitive tasks in tissue culture, increases productivity, and improves laboratory efficiency.
BioTilt™ automatically tilts and rotates BioCoupler™ units at precisely defined intervals, optimizing growth conditions for plant propagation without the need for manual intervention. The system can be controlled remotely via a mobile device or manually directly on the unit.

How BioTilt™ works:

BioTilt™ uses a rack that securely holds multiple BioCoupler™ units and a motorized drive that moves them in a precise cycle. Automated agitation ensures uniform nutrient distribution and gas exchange without manual intervention. The system can also be programmed to control additional factors such as lighting or gas supply, further increasing process efficiency and scalability.

BioCoupler™ – the core of the system

BioCoupler™ is a device for aseptic liquid plant culture, consisting of two containers connected by a special coupling element that allows liquid flow between them. This system ensures efficient nutrient exchange and supports optimal plant growth. BioCoupler™ is easy to use – simply attach it to glass containers with a 70–450 thread for temporary immersion of plants in liquid medium.

How to use BioCoupler™:

1. Select the plant for propagation.
2. Prepare explants and multiplication medium.
3. Place the explants into a sterilized BioCoupler™.
4. Set the rotation according to the plant species (typically once per day to once per week).
5. Monitor explant growth.
6. Transfer plants to the next stage – multiplication, rooting, or acclimatization.
